Every month we rotate a limited edition wood that we may have been interested in doing work with but certain circumstances like availability or popularity may not allow us to offer it full time so we highlight that wood here!

This month's limited edition wood is Thermal Ash! This wood we loved because of the dark rich look the wood has. What makes it unique is the way the wood feels after being cut. When you normally think every wood comes out flat and smooth, thermal ash goes against the flat/smooth norm. After we finish boards made from this wood, you can feel the texture still in the wood pattern where it does feel smooth, it is still wavy where the rings are.
